Svakom Emma Review
By Carnal Queen.
Up until recently, I was regrettably a Svakom virgin. I’m very pleased to say, that situation has now been remedied, since the Svakom Emma and the Siime Eye were sent to me for review from Shop-Naughty, a UK based adult product retailer. Keep an eye open for the Siime Eye review, it’ll be coming soon!
The Svakom Emma is a wand vibrator. It’s not a wand as you’d expect though, in fact Emma has a few tricks up her silicone sleeves to surprise you with. Measuring just over 20cm in length, Emma is not much bigger than your average vibrator, it has to be said though, it’s anything but average. The Svakom Emma is a USB rechargeable, fully waterproof, heating wand. Yep, you read that right, it heats up, right up to a toasty 38 degrees. I love vibrators that get warm, I adore my Rosa Rouge and my Prism VII Rouge, so I was excited by Emma, and I couldn’t wait to peel away the box layers and get stuck in.
I don’t often focus too much on the packaging of a toy, because let’s face it, a box is a box to most people, but I do want to touch on how the Svakom Emma arrives to you. I was really impressed by the clean, stylish design of its presentation. Inside the outer retail sleeve, is a keepsake box with foam insert to protect and house your toy. You get a charging cable, operation manual and a lovely grey Svakom branded bag. You also get you warranty card – Svakom give you a one year manufacturing warranty, and a ten year quality guarantee. The Emma also arrives with its own little rabbit ear hat! Allowing you to turn your wand into something that resembles the clit stimulator of the classic rabbit vibrator.
With 5 constant speeds and an ‘intelligent’ mode, it caters for most tastes. For me, it’s at its most rumbly on the lower speeds, and a tiny bit of buzz creeps in on the higher speeds, but only a small amount, and to be honest, my body loves it anyway. There’s just something about the frequency of the vibrations that works really well for my body. The intelligent mode is a weird one! It’s apparently meant to take you on a sexual journey, simulating the process of sex, with it’s stimulating rises and falls. In reality, it’s a mode which changes what it’s doing, when it likes. I thought I’d hate it, but it’s actually surprisingly good. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t use it all the time, but if I fancy a slow session, it’s nice to let myself be out of control, and to let the vibe do the thinking, so to speak.
The head of the wand is flexible, and the ball shape just hits my vulva in all of its sweet spots, it’s divine! I’ll be honest, the fact I love the shape so much was a real surprise. It’s just a ball shape – but I think the curves, the size of the ball, and the combination of the great frequency vibrations all come together to make the Emma a huge hit for me. The rabbit ear hat is also a cute little addition. The vibrations carry through it pretty well, it’s certainly a new sensation and another pleasure option. For me, I think I’ll use the Emma without the rabbit attachment more, because I like to add pressure. The ears are so soft and flexible, pressure isn’t possible. If you love a more gentle, tickling climax build up, you’d probably love them. They are pretty good for cock stimulation though, and it’s fun to experiment with new ways to use them!
Now to the heat, I freakin love it! It’s controlled by a simple on/off button, and by a stroke of genius, the toy doesn’t need to be vibrating for the heat to be on. That might not sound like too much of a big deal, but I love that I can turn the heat on a few minutes before I want to play, so it’s reached the optimum temperature when I get started. 38 degrees is actually not quite as warm as the Rosa or Prism, but it feels like it gets so much warmer. Applying heat to the body brings more blood flow, and for me, this means better orgasms. It’s also bloody freezing at the moment still, so it makes the perfect winter wanking accessory!
I really love how the Emma feels when I pop the ball head inside me. The shape and heat really seduces my G-Spot, and if I add additional clit stim, the results are explosive. When used externally to stimulate the clitoris, I really enjoy allowing myself to get really close to climax, and then pushing the ball hard into me with my hand. I can grind my hips up and down, allowing my clit, labia, and whole vulva area to caress the ball, and my orgasm that follows is always a satisfying, long lasting release.
Have I mentioned the battery life on the Svakom Emma? No? Well, you’ll be shocked to know, the battery on this thing lasts up to 48 hours! You might be thinking that I’ve missed a hyphen out there, and that I mean 4 to 8 hours … no, no, no, 48 hours! That’s incredible, and unheard of in the sex toy market, as far as I’m aware. It’s hard to keep track of, but this has had loads of testing, and it’s also been used as a CQ warming stick on numerous occasions, and I’ve not charged it since the first two hour charge. If it’s not 48 hours, it’s not far off! What an incredible sex toy to travel with, no need to take wires with you!
I’ve been genuinely blown away by the Svakom Emma. It’s a great vibrator for solo use, a great cock pleaser, and a fantastic toy for use during sex, because the flexible head and the long handle means you can get it where you need it, without hands in the way. It’s pretty powerful, very quiet and discreet, and it has a vibration frequency that my body bows to. Add to this the fact that it’s waterproof, rechargeable and covered in deliciously soft silicone – you’ve got all the things I love in a sex toy.
It would have been nicer to have a couple of extra vibration levels, for more variation, and I’m not keen on the metallic surround for the charging port. Just why is it there? A silicone cover would’ve done the job just fine. I’m picking fly’s though if I’m honest, I love Emma just the way she is.
Pros
It heats up!
A really versatile sex toy
Really quiet for discretion
Mega battery life
Cons
Would benefit from a couple more settings
Annoying metallic coated charging port
