Bonnie and Clyde Rabbit Review
By Carnal Queen.
I was really pleased when Adrien Lastic reached out to me and asked if I’d like to review for them. They’d been on my radar for quite a while, but I hadn’t had chance to try out any of their products, until now. The rabbit vibrator ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ has changed that, and overall I’ve been really quite impressed with what I’ve seen of Adrien Lastic so far.
Rabbits are funny things. I don’t mean the fluffy bunny variety, I mean the sexy, vibrating kind. Some people are lucky, and can get on with any rabbit they pick up, but my anatomy is a little bit more awkward than that. If a rabbit is to work for me, it needs to fit me correctly, and to be honest, the perfect fit is sadly few and far between. Still, I had high hopes for Bonnie and Clyde, maybe I’d hit the jackpot?
I really like the way the Bonnie and Clyde is packaged. It’s not in your face, it’s not sleazy or brash, it’s just understated and simple. Inside the box is the silicone rabbit vibrator, your USB charging lead and a storage bag. I do like a good storage bag. Everything seems high-quality and really well made, which is fab. First impressions of the toy were that I really liked the shape – it kinda looks like it has balls in briefs at the bottom, which is cute!
The Bonnie and Clyde has two motors, one to power the clitoral stimulator, and the other to control the circular motion of the shaft, which Adrien Lastic call their natural wave system. Four spherical balls along the shaft rotate, to make the toy gyrate along its length inside you. Sadly, the shaft of the Bonnie and Clyde doesn’t vibrate. For me this is a real shame, as whilst the rotating shaft does feel good, I think it would be better with vibrations. The rabbit is waterproof, and a two hour charge will give you 60 minutes of play.
You can also power the Bonnie and Clyde with an optional remote control. As mine didn’t come with this control I can’t comment about it too much, but what I will say is that the buttons, which are placed on the side of the ‘balls’ (one side vibration, one side rotation) can be a bit fiddly to press during use. So maybe the optional remote-control isn’t a bad idea? There are 10 speeds of rotation and 10 different modes of vibration, which given the power level, is surprisingly quiet. I’d place this rabbit somewhere in the middle of the power scale. It does pack a bit of a punch, but the vibrations are of the higher frequency variety, which takes the edge off the power a bit.
I do really like the size and shape of the Bonnie and Clyde. 4.5 inches of girth increases to 5 inches at the largest point, and the 6 inches of insertable length feels filling in use. I do think that some people will struggle with the length of the shaft though, because it needs to be fully inserted for the clitoral stimulator to be in place. Oh and about that clitoral stimulator, it might look pretty and unique, but in reality the hollowed out tip means it’s mega gentle. Now for you that might be okay, but for my power hungry clit, it isn’t. The power just doesn’t transfer into the tip very well, leaving you with a piece of silicone that just gently flutters against you like a butterfly. The thought of butterflies has never aroused me.
The fit is also an issue for me because the clit arm reaches up and over my body and doesn’t make contact. If the gentle vibrations worked for me, I could get over this by pushing the tip down, because it’s soft enough to do this, but they don’t, so it’s not worth me worrying about.
So the whirling of the shaft and the fluttering of the clit tip doesn’t really do it for me, but I still really do quite like the Bonnie and Clyde. I adore the shape of the shaft and the silky smooth silicone they’ve used, so for me this toy is best used just as a dildo. Because the clit arm is flexible enough, I can bend it out of the way and use something like the Womanizer or the Tango for clitoral stimulation. This feels amazing, and orgasms are aplenty when I use it this way. Hurray!
Maybe a rabbit vibrator wasn’t the best first choice when trying a new brand. They’re too body specific, and the chances of me getting lucky and finding the perfect fit are quite slim. It really hasn’t put me off Adrien Lastic though, because I’ve genuinely been impressed by the quality and finish of this toy. I’m excited to discover other toys in their range, to find one that is perfectly suited to me. Bonnie and Clyde may not have worked from me, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. If you prefer gentler clitoral stimulation with definite shaft gyration, then you may well be very impressed.
Adrien Lastic very kindly sent me the Bonnie and Clyde rabbit vibrator for free, in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This in no way alters my thoughts or experiences.
