Bathmate Hydromax X30 & MaxOut Serum Review
By Carnal King.
I guess we would all like to say we are used to playing with 12 inches, but as I’m not a superstar DJ (has to be said in the voice of Kevin and Perry) on the wheels of steel sadly me, and most men can’t.
I know it can be a sensitive subject and not everyone is happy or comfortable displaying what they have – maybe it’s those changing rooms at the gym or after a game of footy with the lads, or it could even just be taking a shower at home – for some people, the paranoia is real. Before I get into the full swing of this review, I want to say there is no quick fix or magic pill that will make you have a huge trunk between your legs overnight. Don’t believe the advertising emails you get arriving in your inbox, because it just isn’t true.
However can the Bathmate do as it claims and increase both the length and the girth of your manhood? Let’s see how I got on then!
After seeing a Bathmate demo at ETO 2015 I was quite interested to see how this product actually differs from a “Normal” penis pump. I have used one of those before, and I had a right ball sucking issue and decided I was never going to touch one of those stupid F’in things ever again, no matter what they claim they can do.
Move on a year and I got my hands on a Bathmate X30, which is an upgraded model to the base Hercules range and has 35% more power. On top of that the design has been improved visually and it’s been enhanced to make it even easier to use, with a comfort insert that is removable. After opening the plain outer packaging (which is great if someone else opens your parcel or if something happens to the packaging in transit), you are left with an obvious looking penis pump, but it has a few differences to the usual pumps you see on the market;
- There is no hand pump trailing out the top, as it has its own built-in bellows that are used to create the suction needed.
- The biggest difference is that you use it with water rather than air.
Ok, so a few things to think about before you get pumping – you need to use this full of water and you need to do 3 repetitions of the pumping process, each for 5 minutes, with a short break in between to carry out a few stretches (I did say there was no quick fix) and this can be done daily. So the most obvious time for me to use it would be whilst taking a shower (yes you can use it in the shower!).
Before I used the Bathmate X30 for the first time I took some measurements of length and girth and had a quick read on how best to use the pump and quickly jumped into the shower armed with my Bathmate.
The process on how you use it is extremely simple and it’s the same if you use it in either the bath or the shower;
- Move the flow valve that’s located on the top of the Bathmate either to the left or the right, this locks the pump and allows you to fill it with water.
- Fill to the very top with water
- Place the Bathmate over your penis (making sure your testicles are well out of the way)
- Angle the pump up slightly and move the flow valve into the centre
- Using both hands slowly press the Bathmate back into your pelvic bone and watch as you squirt out the water from the top and create pressure to give you an erection.
- You then need to hold this in place for 5 minutes (you may have to press back occasionally to increase the pressure if needed).
- Once the time is up press the release valve to release the pressure and remove the Bathmate
- Carry out some penile stretches (Think Jelqing…. More on that later in this review)
Then repeat the process again another 2 times! Simply eh?
Unfortunately, my first experience of using the Bathmate wasn’t that successful, I couldn’t seem to make the pump seal with my body properly. However, I muddled through and using my hands to keep the pressure, I could tell that if I could overcome this issue, it might actually do what is should. Over the next couple of days, I tried a few different things after looking online to see if others had the same issues, and then BINGO, I found something that worked. I removed the comfort insert and next thing you know this thing really sucked! In a good way, obviously. So after a successful workout I immediately took some more measurements and what do you know, I saw gains of 10% in girth and 13% in length… not bad for 20min of my time!
There is a flaw with this method though, whilst using it you can’t really shower properly, as at least 1 hand is always holding the pump in place. Not the end of the world, it just means that a quick shower turns into a long shower. I’m not the most patient of people so I wasn’t into that, however the peeps over at Bathmate have thought of this, and sell a shower strap. I would recommend this to anyone that plans to use it in the shower, as once you’ve created the vacuum you’re free to shower as you would normally, just with a pump attached to your body.
I continued to use the pump daily for the next few weeks and the weekly gains were increasing slowly and steadily. I was very happy with what I was seeing, as not only could I see things were bigger down there, but they felt it too and they lasted. On top of that, CQ said she could see and definitely feel a difference…. So far it’s everything that Bathmate promised.
As it’s called a Bathmate, I thought I better try it out as the name intended – in the bath! I’m not one for having a bath usually. I don’t get the point when a shower is quicker anyway, but that’s a different debate altogether. Once I’d got into the bath I followed the same routine as above and started to use the Bathmate. To my surprise the Bathmate works even better, I found the pressure was more intense and instant. I think this is due to the fact that using it in the shower and the natural position of standing up, you lose some of the water in the Bathmate before you even start, meaning that building up the pressure needs more pumping. I also preferred to use the comfort insert in the bath too, as without it I felt it could be easy to get testicular ingress. Bathmate do sell a cushion ring to help negate this also. I would also recommend using the shower strap in the bath if you have it, as this will just allow you to be hands-free in the bath too.
Cleaning the Bathmate is a doddle – you’re already in the shower or the bath, so just rinse with some warm soapy water and either leave to dry naturally or dry with a towel. I have the cleaning kit which comes with a couple of smaller towels, similar to the size of bar towels and a sponge on a handle to easily clean the top of your Bathmate.
At the time I started using the X30, Bathmate were just getting ready to launch a new Jelqing serum called MaxOut and they were kind enough to send me a sample to review. Once again it arrived quickly and in the plain outer packaging with the MaxOut box tucked nicely inside. I’ve heard of the Jelqing technique and you can read online that many believe it encourages penis growth and have got successful results by doing it.
The serum itself contains Testostomax, which is a unique blend of 23 different ingredients. It has the consistency of a good quality moisturiser and is designed to be used alongside your Bathmate pump.
The technique is extremely simple to do:
- Make sure your penis is semi hard
- Put 2 pumps of MaxOut on your hand
- Place the MaxOut along the shaft of your penis
- Make an O shape with your index finger and your thumb ??
- Use the other hand to hold the base of your shaft and slowly and tightly (not so much that it hurts) slide the O you have made up along the shaft and stopping before you reach the head
- Repeat this process roughly 100 times (I generally did this for about 4-5 minutes)
If needed you can either apply more MaxOut or a little water, as you want your fingers to move smoothly up the shaft of your penis. Once you have finished there is no need to wash the serum off, it can be left to dry naturally if you want. As it contains peppermint, it does create a nice cooling sensation during use, so if you do feel that, it’s completely normal. However if you do experience any painful or burning sensations, stop using the product immediately.
As a standalone product, I don’t think you will see massive gains using this and carrying out a regular Jelqing routine. Due to the nature of the technique length will be the thing you will see most, but used alongside a Bathmate it works well, and you’re more likely to see greater gains and potentially quicker.
So the next question on your lips is are the gains permanent? Well, that depends on if you continue to use the pump regularly – if you do then yes the gains will stay and hopefully keep improving, but if you stop using it, then no the gains will be lost and you will need to start the routine again. Within the first few uses the gains lasted just a few hours, the more I used the X30 the longer the effects lasted. Then it got to the point where the change was still visible the next time I came to use the Bathmate. In the name of science, I stopped using the Bathmate after a while to see how long the gains lasted and after around 10 days things almost returned back to where I started.
This is my experience of using the Bathmate X30 and whilst it’s been positive and after a couple of months use I have seen gains of over 18% in length and 19% in girth, you must remember that everyone is different. So hopefully if you do decide to try it out, you see positive gains too. Remember that the big thing is that it takes time, and a small amount of dedication to build this up and for it to continue – liken it to going to the gym, if you go regularly and keep weightlifting, naturally your muscle mass will increase – if you then stop going, after a short period of time your muscle mass slowly decreases.
As Bathmate do several ranges and sizes of product, choosing the one for you can be done here, the best value is in the Xtreme kits. I suspect that you will eventually outgrow some of the smaller models and going bigger may be better value long term. If I continue to see gains I may invest in an X40 Xtreme pack to see how that differs and if the different pump system impacts performance.
Bathmate provided the MaxOut Jelqing serum for free, in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts are still my thoughts though, nothing changes those! Wanna get pumping? Grab a Bathmate Hydromax or explore the range at Lovehoney. You can grab some MaxOut directly from Bathmate.
