Turbo Sex Machine Review
By Carnal Queen.
Are you looking to perhaps dip your toe tentatively into the wonderful world of sex machine’s? If you’re unsure about whether mechanical sex will be for you, it’s unlikely that you’ll be wanting to drop hundreds on a top of the range machine, and it’s often difficult to find something which will allow you to sample the versatility that some machine’s offer, at a reasonable cost. The Turbo Sex Machine by Diva could be the answer to your fuck machine prayers.
There’s a flip side to that statement too, and that is, if you’re looking for a powerful, sturdy and robust machine, and you have no concerns for small footprints, lightweight builds or lower price-points, then I’d probably suggest that the Turbo isn’t for you. Read on, and let me explain to you why …
The Turbo Sex Machine is a Diva creation. Diva make a huge range of different sex machine’s, seriously if they don’t make something that ticks all of your boxes in terms of requirements, I’d be very surprised. Big ones, small ones, fast ones, deep ones, shallow ones … you name it, Diva will have made it. The Turbo is a new addition to their range, and at the time of writing this is available exclusively at sexmachines.co.uk.
Is it their most expensive sex machine? No it isn’t, not by a long shot. For me, it’s perfectly placed as a beginner sex machine – of course that’s because of the more attractive price tag, but also because of the versatility. Up until the Turbo came along, for someone who really wasn’t sure if they’d like it, and for someone who just wanted to have a little play and experience what being mechanically fucked feels like, I may have recommended the Toolbox, but in my opinion, the Turbo blows the Toolbox out of the water, and offers you so much more in terms of value.
It arrives discreetly, as does everything from sexmachines. It’s already pretty much fully assembled, so all you need to do is plug the leads in and attach the shaft rod and dildo. You get two dildos, a TPR one, and a slimmer silicone one, that’s perfect for anal play. I’ll use the silicone one, because well, it’s silicone, but the TPR one never gets to come out and play. Sexmachines often have silicone vac-u-lock dildos (platinum range) in stock, but they’re readily available to buy from numerous places. I only ever recommend the use of silicone toys because they’re non-porous and can be hygienically cleaned.
As with the DP Fucking Machine that I recently reviewed, the Turbo comes with a Diva Wizard and a set of love eggs which plug into the speed controller. The eggs are a bit lost on me to be honest, they’re a bit too buzzy for my liking, and the seam around them means I want to keep them as fluid free as possible, because they’re a nightmare to clean. The Diva Wizard though is quite a clever addition, and when used with a nice firm dildo, can really help to make penetration easier. It means you no longer have to be lined up to the machine with military precision, because the spring-like nature of the wizard gives the dildo some flex and movement. Keep it away from hairy parts though, unless you want some epilation!
What sets the Turbo apart from machine’s like the Toolbox is the sheer versatility it offers in terms of angle of penetration and thrust depth. It’s unusual to find a machine at this price-point which is so customisable. There’s about a 150 degree range of movement in the thrust arm, and the thrust depth can be changed from 1.8 to 6.7 inches and everything in between. You can try a bit of everything with this machine, and I think that’s fantastic. Just a couple of knobs and a wing-nut stand between you and your perfect penetration depth and position, it really couldn’t be any easier.
It’s also a really small machine, and is simple to store because of its compact footprint and lightweight frame. It’s just 16 inches long, 12 inches wide and 14 inches high, and the 6.8kg weight means it will happily just slide into the bottom of a cupboard with ease. The motor is a very respectable 32in-lbs torque, and is capable of speeds up to 250-300 strokes per minute. This depends on the thrust depth that you have set, the shallowest thrusts can get up to 300 per minute, giving you a rat-a-tat function. Because the motor is powerful, anal penetration with this machine is easy and effortless. So what’s the catch?
Well, it’s the weight of the machine, combined with the size and shape, which for me means it wouldn’t ever be my go-to sex machine. It’s just too light, and therefore far too lively. It’s worse on some surfaces than others, like on our wooden floors, which is where I prefer to use our sex machine’s. With a girthy dildo and a good squeeze of my pelvic floor muscles, I can halt the dildo inside me and make the machine thrust backwards and forwards on the floor. A very bizarre sight and feeling! On the bed, the duvet and bedclothes provide some resistance, and it runs much better. These issues only arise at half speed and up though, on the lower speeds it’s absolutely fine.
CK likened it to putting a Ferrari engine into a Fiat Punto. I totally appreciate that analogy, and it fits beautifully. The motor is far superior to the weight and build of the machine. But then, a huge USP for this machine is its small footprint and low weight. If you can add some pressure or weight to the machine, you can enjoy the higher speeds much more easily, and as I said, for experimental purposes, this machine really does deliver in leaps and bounds – it’s catch 22.
The ability to expand the machine with universal dildo adaptors and Fleshlight mounts means that for someone who likes to occasionally dabble in sex machine fun, and who doesn’t want it thrusting at the speed of light, the Turbo could be the one to satisfy their needs. CK found that the machine felt like it was initially going to tip up when used with a Fleshlight adaptor and Fleshlight, because of the imbalance of weight, but when he was inside the sleeve it was fine. He also had the same issues with the machine at top-end speeds, as I did when using it with a dildo – the machine just wants to have itself a party.
Sex machine’s are investments, they’re expensive pieces of kit and not everyone wants to or can afford, to drop large sums of their hard earned cash on them. Often compromises need to be made along the way, and decided which features are important to you can be tough. This machine may not be for me personally, but I can fully appreciate the benefits and what it offers the user when compared to the cost. I’ll have no hesitation in recommending the Turbo Sex Machine to anyone wanting to start their sex machine adventure without having to live on beans on toast for a month to afford it. It’s a lot of fun, and providing you’re happy to tame the little beast, will give you lots of bang for your buck.
